Last week, I showed you how I made some ribbon bookmarks to ship out via “Happy Mail” for fellow journalers. I have been Bible Journaling for just under a year…and frankly, I do more idea hunting than actually journaling, in getting my studio area organized, that should change. This last week hasn’t been super crafty for me as I’ve been working on organizational projects and getting ready for our big adoption open house and the little man’s birthday.
If you don’t know exactly what Bible journaling is, just google or search on pinterest for ideas. It is a unique form of Bible study that allows you to connect with scripture through drawing, painting, collage…however you feel. Most of my work is “borrowed” ideas, so don’t get ruffled feathers if you look at mine then see something very close to it online. The Bible journaling community is so nice like that…they don’t mind sharing ideas and inspiration. I mostly draw in my Bible. You won’t see a lot of examples where I cover words. I’m getting braver. I have one Bible for artwork and one for study. My journaling Bible is ESV and my study Bible is NIV. It’s nice to have different translations to reference.
Anyway, I thought I would share some of the work I have done in my bible.
